A strange sentient pastel slime inhibiting an anthrophomorphic form

The slime has a color not really seen in 226's nature, why is it pastel? i do not know.
This is a small wing-like protrusion, might be malformed since it is not big enough to lift the creature up. I still do not know why this evolved in the first place, i do not think it gives any evolutionary benefit to fly; atleast when doing it like this.
The creature may have working organs since it does need to eat, i do not know if it has all of the organs normal to 226's creatures; or if it just has the digestive and sensing organs, but i do know it does have a gelatinous brain and could be a weak spot.
